Our Team
Alexandrea Tay is a warm, empathetic psychologist who has supported children, youths, young adults, and families at The Psychology Clinic since 2017. With a reputation for creating a non-judgmental, safe space for clients of all ages, Alexandrea is especially known for her ability to ease social anxiety, build emotional stability, and gently guide clients out of challenging emotional states. Clients describe her as approachable, insightful, and respectful—someone who listens deeply and helps them emerge “changed, new and happier.”
With a strong academic foundation, Alexandrea holds dual Master of Science degrees in Famil and Child Psychology; and Clinical Psychology from the United Kingdom, as well as a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Australia. Her therapeutic work is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), play and art-based therapies, and behavioural interventions. She is a certified CBT practitioner with the International Guild of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (iGCBT), and also holds certifications in Play Therapy (Level 3), Applied Behavioural Analysis, and Therapeutic Art Life Coaching.
Alexandrea is regularly invited to speak at mental health and education forums, having presented at institutions such as Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Keat Hong Youth Network, and other community outreach groups. She currently mentors psychology students at James Cook University (Singapore) and is a Registered Instructor (Enrichment – Mental Health) with the Ministry of Education (Singapore). Alexandrea is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society, a member of the British Psychological Society, and an affiliate of the American Psychological Association.

Amy is a practising psychologist, clinical hypnotherapist, and certified Mind-Body Health Practitioner, fluent in both English and Mandarin. Known for her warmth, clarity, and down-to-earth sessions, Amy has been described by clients as being compassionate, empowering, and deeply supportive.
Employing an integrative approach grounded in different modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, Amy specialises in Stress & Emotional Management, Anxiety reduction, performance blockage, elimination of Emotional Baggage, Life Coaching & Directions; with special focus on PMETs and young adults. She aims to help clients be more self-aware and confident in facing life’s challenges; thereby experiencing a more stable, satisfying and balanced mental wellbeing.

Further, Amy has also successfully completed the Level 2 training in Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
Amy is a qualified trainer with the School of Clinical Hypnosis and approved facilitator with the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, she co-supervises student therapists in Singapore and Vietnam, who are pursuing their Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mind Body Health Practice. As an avid public speaker, Amy is also a Distinguished Toastmaster and the principal facilitator of the School of Speaking (SOS).

Aloysius Tay is the Principal Psychologist at The Psychology Clinic. He holds a Master of Science in Psychological Medicine and Mental Health from London Metropolitan University and has been a certified clinical hypnotherapist since 2013. He completed his doctoral studies with a research focus on the efficacy of hypnosis as a primer for the treatment of psychological disorders. A recognised leader in the field of Clinical Hypnotherapy.
As a certified Mind-Body Health Practitioner, Aloysius offers counselling, psychotherapy, and life coaching to individuals, couples, and groups. His practice draws on modalities such as EMDR for trauma recovery, Gestalt Therapy, and other evidence-based interventions designed to promote long-term emotional resilience and mental well-being. Clients often describe Aloysius as insightful, calming, and empowering. Whether addressing anxiety or coaching individuals toward personal and professional growth, his sessions are known to yield useful self-management strategies from the very first meeting. He supports clients through transformative journeys—not only to recover from distress but also to evolve from functioning to flourishing. June Lim is a Clinical Psychologist and has a decade of experience working with clients with a range of psychological disorders such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorder as well as experience in neuropsychological assessment for adults with memory complaints. She specialises in populations with chronic pain, dementia, chronic diseases and chronic skin conditions like eczema and trichotillomania. June works with adults to older adults, using an eclectic approach with techniques from Cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy. She is also a trained mindfulness facilitator. June believes that everyone has the right to get access to mental health services and no problem is too small to work through. As a psychologist, she endeavours to help every client to lead their best life. In her free time, June is a certified personal trainer and coaches part time as well. She enjoys exercising and good food. June is proficient in English and Mandarin. June received her Masters in Health Psychology (Distinction) from King’s College London. June is a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society and a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society.
June Chan is a psychologist at The Psychology Clinic (Singapore) with a warm, respectful, and emotionally grounded approach to therapy. She supports clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, emotional burnout, trauma recovery, and relationship difficulties. Clients have described her as patient, insightful, and honest—offering not just what they want to hear, but what they need to hear for true growth. She is trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities which she customizes to meet the unique requirements of every client. She is warm, patient and respectful who provides a safe, judgment-free environment to help clients achieve greater mental health and therefore more peaceful and fulfilling lives and relationships.

Evangelyn completed a MSc in Applied Psychology with London Metropolitan University , UK.

Lavinia, completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology (Distinction), is a certified counsellor and member of the Singapore Association for Counselling. She has rich experience in inner child work and is proficient in a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and somatic therapy, applying mind-body healing to aid with trauma recovery. She was trained to use Play and Sand Therapy as modalities and has experiences working with young children and youths at risk.

San Ho is trained in psychotherapy, psychology and couple counselling. He uses his knowledge in various modalities; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Prepare-Enrich in his therapeutic intervention on self-esteem, depression, stress, anxiety, traumas as well as difficulties with relationships and interpersonal skills. San Ho attained a BSc (Psychology) and Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology from Australia and is a trained practitioner psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist. He is a certified member of both the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (USA) and Association of Hypnosis Professionals (Singapore).
Priscilla is a dedicated counsellor who adopts an authentic and respectful approach towards her clients. She instils hope, empowers and inculcates resilience by utilising different counselling interventions such as Person-Centred therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Choice Reality Therapy. Priscilla offers a safe environment to support her clients through their relationship difficulties, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. She holds a Master of Counselling from Swinburne University, Australia. She is trained in Gottman couple therapy; a certified facilitator for PrepareEnrich and SYMBIS couple assessment program; and a certified clinical hypnotherapist.
Eunice holds a Masters in Career Guidance & Counselling. Having worked in a school setting previously, she recognises the growing stressors faced by students today and wishes to extend a listening ear and be a part of their journey. She has experience working with youths dealing with low self-esteem, anxiety and family related issues. Being attuned to the uniqueness of each individual, various modalities of intervention (e.g cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy and reality therapy) can be applied. With an empathetic and pleasant disposition, she provides a non-judgmental and safe environment for clients to embrace their vulnerabilities and grow. She is proficient in both English and Mandarin. Eunice is currently working towards to being registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling.
Kai Xuan specialises in working with youths, young adults, and adults. He is very sharp in identifying and understanding the core issues of his clients and is able to work out an intervention plan within the first session. He mainly uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Hypnotherapy as a complementary modality. Kai Xuan covers a wide range of issues (e.g. depression, anxiety, trauma-related, relationships and emotional regulation). He is warm, patient, respectful, insightful and a great listener. He empowers his clients by providing them comfort, assurance, and direction after every session. He is proficient in English and can converse in Mandarin as well. Kai Xuan graduated with a BA(Hons) in Psychology from the National University of Singapore and is a certified Clinical Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist, and Counsellor from the International College of Clinical Hypnosis Practitioners. He is also a certified member of the International Association of Counsellors and Therapists (USA).
